In addition to being a coach, I love teaching people to go do their best work.
I have been working in higher education since 1999, and a behavior analyst since 1995. I was an early adopter of the BCBA credential (2001), and have training and experience in:
- Functional Analysis and Assessment
- Treatment planning
- Difficult/severe problem behavior
- Acceptance and Commitment Training
- Ethical dilemmas
- Special Education
My additional training as a trauma professional and compassion fatigue professional give me a unique perspective on how to prevent overwork and burnout. I’ve worked in just about every setting imaginable, from day habilitation to supported employment to schools to hospitals. I’m licensed as a behavior analyst in Virginia, and hold teaching credentials in Special Education and Autism in Delaware.
I’ve mentored and coached both pre-service behavior analysts and those seeking additional mentoring after getting the BCBA credential. Clients include newly certified and those who have been in the field for a long time.
You can expect to be challenged, but in a way that promotes your growth as a behavior analytic professional. In my clinical practice, I place high value on evidence-based practices and a collaborative, compassionate approach to care.
